This is built to be tuned ADGCEA, like a standard concert guitar with a capo at the fifth fret, but of course all sorts of tunings can be used.
The string tension on this short 433mm (17") scale, tuned ADGCEA, is the the same as a 578mm (22 3/4") scale, tuned EADGBE.
So your regular string gauge might feel a little softer.
